Each CHATURYUGA is equal to 308,448,000 (71.4 x 4,320 years) which includes it's Pralaya (fraction period of rest between 2 cycles which is equal to one SATYA (KRITA) YUGA or 1,728,000). We can not exclude this Pralaya if that cycle has in fact passed.

- Brahma lives to be 100 years old or 311,040,000,000,000 years
- 1 year of Brahma = 311,040,000,000,000 / 100 years = 3,110,400,000,000 years
- 1 day (24 hours) of Brahma = 3,110,400,000,000 / 360 days = 8,640,000,000 years
- 24 hours = a day (12 hours) and a night (12 hours) of equal duration = 4,320,000,000 x 2 = 8,640,000,000 (includes the period of rest in between cycles)
- 12 hours consists of 14 MANVANTAR = 4,320,000,000 / 14 = 308,448,000 years
- Each MANVANTAR consists of 71.4 CHATURYUGAS (MAHAYUGAS) = 308,448,000 / 71.4 = 4,320,000 years (71 CHATURYUGAS plus Pralaya (period of rest) of 1,728,000)
- Each CHATURYUGAS consists of 4 YUGAS (Satya, Treta, Dvapara & Kali) = 1,728,000 + 1,296,000 + 864,000 + 432,000 = 4,320,000 years

Our current KALIYUGA started 4,989 years ago, as of 1889, and marked the death of KRISHNA. The first MILLENNIUM of 5,000 years in the KALIYUGA ended in 1898 and marked the dawn of a new cycle.

Now:
YOUR TOTAL PERIOD OF MANVANTAR = 14 x 71 = 994 CHATURYUGAS should really be:
TOTAL PERIOD OF MANVANTAR = 14 x 71.4 = 1000 CHATURYUGAS or 4,320,000,000 years

Broken Down means that there are 71 CHATURYUGAS (Mahayuga) for every MANVANTAR plus the PRALAYA = 71 x 4,320,000 = 306,720,000 years + Pralaya of 1,728.000 (.4 x 4,320,000) = 308,448,000 years
1 CHATURYUGA (Mahayuga) = 1,728,000 (Satya) + 1,296,000 (Treta) + 864,000 (Dvapara) + 432,000 (Kali) = 4,320,000 years
71.4 CHATURYUGAS (Mahayuga) = 1 MANVANTAR = 308,448,000 years

Each CHATURYUGA is equal to 308,448,000 (71.4 x 4,320 years) which includes it's Pralaya (fraction period of rest between 2 cycles which is equal to one SATYA (KRITA) YUGA or 1,728,000). We can not exclude this Pralaya if that cycle has in fact passed.

Here are my comments regarding your sequence of calculations from above:
1) 6 MANVANTAR have passed = 6 x 71.4 CHATURYUGAS = 6 x 71.4 = 1,850,688,000 years

2) Yes, 27 CHATURYUGAS OF THE 7TH MANVANTAR have passed = 116,640,000 years

3) We are in the 27.9th Age of the 7th MANVANTAR and the cycle has not yet been completed so, the 3 Yugas have not already passed: Only .9 CHATURYUGAS have passed = 3,888,000 years

So, if we add:
6 MANVANTAR plus the 27 CHATURYUGAS plus .9 CHATURYUGAS we get.. 1,850,688,000 + 116,640,000 + 3,888,000 = 1,971,216,000 years into existence.
